During the week after Thanksgiving at Boothbay Region Adult Ed you can take a class to explore Essential Oils and their benefits, become skilled at using Microsoft Word 2010, or learn CPR and First Aid. There are a few spaces available in Eventide's Wine and Cheese Pairings class.
Join Lisa and Lori for a fun two-session workshop, Essential Oils 101, where you'll explore single oils, and blends which can calm your mind and help you relax. They can also improve emotional and physical health. Essential oils make a great gift for birthday or the holidays. The class is on Nov. 30 and Dec. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m.; the fee is $18. You can choose to create your own special blend (optional for a $5 fee paid to the instructors at class).
Have you recently upgraded or been thinking of upgrading to MS Word 2010? What's New in MS Word will help you use the new interface, commands, and features to create, enhance and share documents. Learn time-saving shortcuts, customize documents, and much more. Prerequisite: experience using former versions of MS Word. This three-session class meets Dec. 1, 3 and 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. The fee is $38.
