Damariscotta Police Department: Two accidents with no injuries
The Damariscotta Police report the following activity from Feb. 22 to Feb. 28.
Feb. 22
Officer Halpin summonsed Regan Burnham of Rockland for speeding on Church Street.
Sgt. Warlick is investigating a report of theft on Abbie Lane.
Feb. 24
Chief Young responded to a two vehicle accident on Main Street. Sarah Scordino of Jefferson was driving a 2014 Subaru and Geri Small of Bristol was driving a 2008 BMW. No injuries were reported.
Sgt. Warlick warned Conner Andrews of Damariscotta was warned for a defect and expired inspection on Biscay Road.
Feb. 25
Officer Sylvester assisted with a report of theft on Route 1
Feb. 26
Sgt. Warlick summonsed Jeffrey Blanc of South Bristol for operating without a license on Main Street and took a late report of a property damage accident on Coastal Market Drive.
Offier Sylvester warned Jennifer Eckel of Bristol for a defect on Main Street.
Officer Dotson warned Luke Huntington of Newcastle for speeding and failing to produce driver’s license and was summonsed for expired insurance on Bristol Road.
Feb. 27
Officer Dotson warned Amanda Rattleff of Wiscasset and Todd Kelley of Damariscotta for defects on Main Street.
Officer Halpin warned Lisa Renton of Thomaston for registration on Main Street, warned Edward Skarren of Thomaston for speeding on Route 1, is investigating a report of an assault on Biscay Road, summonsed Pedro Guimaraes of Westport Island for speeding on Route 1.
Feb. 28
Officer Halpin summonsed the following for speeding on Route 1: Carol Shull of Rockland; Kimberly Mondonedo of Topsham. and Gerald Robinson of Rockland.
Officer Sylvester investigated a report of a single vehicle accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
The Damariscotta Police Department responded to 140 calls for service during the time period of Feb. 22 to Feb. 28, including: 1 assault, 8 assist citizen, 5 assist other agency, 1 attempt to locate, 1 compliance check, 80 property checks, 1 community policing, 1 concealed weapons permit, 1 disabled motor vehicle, 1 erratic operations, 2 motor vehicle accidents, 14 motor vehicle stops, 6 police information, 1 lost/found property, 1 special detail, 2 suspicious activity, 1 traffic hazard, 4 theft/forgery/fraud, 1 threatening, 7 traffic control and 2 welfare checks. 13 citations or warnings were issued.
