Hop on the Easter Eggspress March 26
On Saturday, March 26, the Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington Railway Museum will hold its annual Easter Eggspress. The day will feature steam train rides behind the newly restored Portland Company steam engine and Easter Egg hunts. Ride the train to Alna Center and find the golden egg. Locate the golden egg and a large basket of goodies is yours!
Separate egg hunts will be held each trip for children 5 and under and 6 and older. If the golden egg is not found, the basket will go to the child with the most eggs. Trains depart Sheepscot Station hourly from noon to 3 p.m.
Since Easter Egg hunts are for the young at heart, our normal child's fare of $5 will apply to all with children under 3 participating for free!
Sheepscot Station is located at 97 Cross Road in Alna. From Wiscasset Village, take Route 218 north, 4.5 miles to Cross Road. Take a left onto Cross Road and Sheepscot Station is at the bottom of the hill on the right.
