Make a spring felted flower pin
Come make a beautiful felted flower pin in colors perfect for spring. Join Susie on Wednesday, April 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. to learn hooking and proddy with a small pin. This textile technique transforms wool into colorful pieces of art. Then you will use a special barbed needle to add embellishments to your piece.
Learn how easy the simple techniques of needle felting are. These flowers are fabulous for decorating a jacket, necklace, bag or given as a gift. The possibilities are endless. Susie is the owner of Stephenson Fiber Arts Studio in Edgecomb and raises sheep, dyes her own wool, and is the author of a book about rug hooking. The registration fee is $14 plus an $8 materials fee paid to Susie on class night. Bring a friend and have fun creating your own unique pin!
Complete a registration form from the Adult Ed Spring brochure or print one from our website: boothbayae.org. Mail to the address on the form, and enclose the $14 registration fee. Or you can drop your registration and payment off in the main office at the high school weekdays before 3 p.m. If you have questions or want more information, call 633-3224 or email: boothbayae@gwi.net.
