Sheepscot Valley Children’s House shares success of expanded programs
Eighteen months ago Sheepscot Valley Children’s House added infant and toddler care to their repertoire of early childhood education. The community response from these new programs has been amazing.
On Thursday, April 28, from 7 to 8 p.m., the school would like to invite the community to see the school and the programs it offers for infants – Kindergarten aged children.
Wiscasset’s Sheepscot Valley Children’s House is helping the community fill a need for quality childcare in the Midcoast region.
“It is very difficult for parents to find care, especially for infants. We are unique because we can be a part of these children’s schooling right through kindergarten," said longtime Trustee Ethel Stansfield. “Over the years we have adapted to parent’s needs. We are open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accommodate peoples’ busy schedules. "
Sheepscot Valley Children’s House has been operating in Wiscasset since September 1983. SVCH provides quality childcare for children aged infants – Kindergarten. Sheepscot Valley is currently enrolling children for their 2016 summer program and their 2016-2017 academic year.
