“Zootopia” takes place in a rich and lush fictional city in which animals live and work side by side (like people). It's a melting pot where animals from every environment live together-a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything.

But when rookie Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn't so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery. “Zootopia” rated PG plays Wednesday, May 4 and Thursday, May 5 at 7 p.m.

“The Jungle Book” Raised by a family of wolves since birth, Mowgli (Neel Sethi) must leave the only home he’s ever known when the fearsome tiger Shere Khan (Idris Elba) unleashes his mighty roar in Walt Disney Studios new movie. Guided by a no-nonsense panther (Ben Kingsley) and a free-spirited bear (Bill Murray), the young boy meets an array of jungle animals, including a slithery python and a smooth- talking ape. Along the way, Mowgli learns valuable life lessons as his epic journey of self-discovery leads to fun and adventure.

Directed by Jon Favreau (Chef), “The Jungle Book” is a live-action remake of the beloved 1967 Disney animated classic. Reviewing for Cinemablend, Eric Eisenberg describes the film as “ … big screen magic” and goes on to say, "The Jungle Book" is shot beautifully, and has a fantastic sense of wonder.”

“The Jungle Book”  plays Friday, May 6, Saturday, May 7, Wednesday, May 11 and Thursday, May 12 at 7 p.m.., and on Sunday, May 8 at 2 p.m.

“The Congressman,” written, directed by Bob Mrazek, filmed on Monhegan Island. Starring Treat Williams, Elizabeth Marvel, Ryan Merriman and George Hamilton. Mrazek will be at the theater to talk about the production and answer audience questions on a date to be determined during the run in Boothbay Harbor. Playing May 13-19.

Whether it is Italy with its generous vacation time allotments, France with its gourmet school lunches, Germany with its industrial policy, Norway and its prison system, Tunisia and its strongly progressive women's policy, and Iceland and its strong female presence in government and business among others, Michael Moore discovers there is much that American should emulate. The Kentucky Derby Live! "The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports," and the first leg of the U.S. Triple Crown, the 2016 Kentucky Derby continues the tradition that has seen the race run every consecutive year since 1875.
