National Honor Society inducts members
The annual National Honor Society induction ceremony was conducted at Wiscasset Middle High School on May 24. Six students were inducted into the local NHS chapter, having been selected on their merits and achievements in the areas of scholarship, character, service, and leadership. The new inductees are senior Amanda Marcus; juniors Jenna Bickford, Aidan Carlson, and Brooke Carleton-Wagstaff; and sophomores Kobe Carrier and Leah Potter.
Current members conducted the ceremony, with Colleen Hendricks and Sam Arsenault leading the way. Other speakers included Amanda Johnson, Grant Hefler, Kennedy Orr and Gabrielle Cholish. New member Brooke Carleton-Wagstaff was unable to attend due to a prior engagement and was inducted in a private ceremony witnessed by her parents, Principal Peg Armstrong, and the NHS members.
Family and friends enjoyed refreshments after the ceremony.
