Maggie Meixell of Westport Island is now a graduate of Colgate University, located in Hamilton, New York. Meixell majored in classical studies and international relations and graduated magna cum laude.

A graduate of North Yarmouth Academy, Meixell received a bachelor of arts degree at Colgate's 195th Commencement May 15. Commissioner of Major League Baseball Robert D. Manfred Jr. delivered the keynote address to a packed audience of family and friends.
