Spectrum Generations Coastal Community in Damariscotta will host its weekly Lunch and Learn program Wednesday, Dec. 26 at 11:15 a.m. Following the luncheon, world travelers and Bristol residents Donald and Jean Smith will describe in word and through Smith’s photographs their visit to the Hawaiian Islands and the Pearl Harbor Memorial.  

Hawaii is the most recent of the 50 U.S. states, and is the only state made up entirely of islands. It is the northern most island group in Polynesia, occupying most of an archipelago in the central Pacific Ocean.  

There will also be an opportunity for luncheon guests to share their own travel stories.  

So bring your photo albums and have a bit of fun sharing a visual journey to places that you have found fascinating with other luncheon guests. 

Advanced luncheon reservations are required.  Please call 207-563-1363 by 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 24 to make your luncheon reservation and entrée selection (Chicken Marsala or Egg Rolls with Vegetable Lo Mein). Suggested donation is $4 per person for luncheon guests over 60 years of age, all others are $6. 

Can’t make it to lunch?  Community members are always welcome to attend the Center’s Wednesday Learn portion of the day’s Lunch and Learn program, which will begin noon.
