Adult ed fall classes begin soon
Fall classes at Boothbay Region Adult Ed begin the week of Oct. 11. If you haven't picked up a copy of the brochure yet you can find them at Hannaford, Harbor Tech, town libraries, YMCA, all four schools, and other locations in the region. Or you can go to our website: boothbayae.org to view the brochure online and print out a registration form.
We hope you'll find a class or two that interests you whether it's cooking, crafts, life skills, or computers. Some of the classes we are offering this Fall include exploring the world of tea with Mary Norwood including blending a variety of flavors, or aromatherapy where you'll learn to make scrubs and bath soaks. If you use Microsoft Excel and want to become more familiar with functions, formulas, and databases, we have three mini-sessions you can choose from. The holiday season will soon be here. Paint a glass ornament, create personal newsletters or cards, or join Nathalie for a French-Canadian holiday cooking class. Instead of a traditional pie learn to make a delicious gallette (free form pie).
You'll also find some returning classes such as Notary Public, Estate Planning, and Get to Know Your Digital Camera among others. Helpful computer classes include Internet Security, and Back up your Files.
Do you have skill, craft or special interest you would like to share with others? We are always looking for new classes and people to teach them. Give us a call or send an email.
To register for Adult Ed courses complete the registration form in the brochure, or print one from our website: boothbayae.org. Include payment and mail to the address on the form.
