On Tuesday, Oct. 11, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife will conduct a crossbow safety course at Boothbay Region High School. To be eligible to purchase a crossbow hunting license, any person (16 years of age and older) must hold a valid license to hunt big game (either a big game hunting license or an archery license) and must submit proof of having successfully completed an archery hunting education course and a crossbow hunting course. The fee for the course is $10. Please register ahead of time.

Complete a registration form from the fall brochure or print one from our website at boothbayae.org. Enclose payment and either mail to Boothbay Region Adult Ed or drop off in the BRHS office during school hours. For more information, please call 633-3224.
