Students and staff participated in the annual Pink Day at Wiscasset Middle High School on Oct. 13. Our Superintendent of Schools Heather Wilmot wore pink, as well! This is an annual awareness day we have done for the past several years. The student council sponsors it.
Printed information sheets about breast cancer and student-made pink ribbons are distributed to the staff and students. We also collect donations from the staff and students to benefit the Susan B. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.
