Free income tax help being offered
Free income tax help is being offered in several Midcoast locations. The assistance is for low- and middle-income taxpayers, with special attention to those 60 or older. You do not need to be an AARP member or retiree to use this service.
AARP Tax-Aide volunteers are ready to prepare your federal and state income tax returns. This free service is sponsored by the IRS and the AARP Foundation. Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and certified each year. Tax returns will be filed electronically to provide more accurate and timely service.
