Portions of Wiscasset, Dresden lose power due to broken pole
According to Central Maine Power on Friday, a pole was reported broken on Gardiner Road in Wiscasset at 7:21 a.m. Thursday, knocking out power to 113 customers in Wiscasset and Dresden.
“CMP did great and replaced the pole and everything in less than three hours,” Rich McKusic, general manager at Greg’s Used Cars and Service on Gardiner Road, told the Wiscasset Newspaper via Facebook. “Not something you see every day,” he said about the snapped pole, which he photographed. The Wiscasset Newspaper has a message into the Wiscasset Police Department seeking information on the incident.
