On Aug. 25, the Wiscasset Police Department will be hosting a Back to School Supply Drop Off Drive Thru for kids who attend the Wiscasset School Department. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the front of the EMS portion of the municipal building located at 51 Bath Road.

Items that can be donated are backpacks, pens, pencils, lunchboxes, paper products, glue, crayons, etc. Cash donations will be accepted and officers will purchase additional items with these funds.

School Resource Officer Craig Worster will be coordinating these efforts and all donations can be made at the police department or at the town office on this day or any day up until Aug. 31. Please consider assisting us in this effort to ensure our kids succeed in school.
