In Maine, September is the gateway to autumn, with brilliant color changes, pumpkin patches ready for harvest, fairs and apple orchards.

The start of the academic year is at hand, as well. Here at Atlantic Motorcar we are delighted to be offering a teacher and student art exhibit starting this month and running until December.

Artist Linda Murray has assembled an impressive abstract and color-filled collection including the works of three of her students, Walter Chop, Monika Kirkland and Sandi Herson. Stop in on your way along Route 1 during our regular business hours (Mon-Fri 8-5) to enjoy their art and a complimentary cup of coffee. 

Murray is a water media artist and art instructor. She has a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of Maine in Augusta. Her works have been displayed in solo and group exhibits and can be found in both public and private collections. She has received numerous awards for her art. This accomplished artist has made it a priority to pass on her knowledge and love of art to others through teaching. We are pleased to welcome her and her students’ art to AMC's walls.

Atlantic Motorcar at 10 Oxhorn Road off Route 1 offers art space for artists. No commission or hanging fee is charged; the space is donated as a service to the local art community at large.
