Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty will be hosting the art works of Charles Norris and Diane Charyk Norris in their Damariscotta Office located at 170 Main Street for the months of September and October.

Charles Norris is a printmaker, photographer, architect, and urban designer who lives and works in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Popham Beach. Interests in photography and watercolors evolved in design school and have continued in his personal artwork and professional practice. His printmaking currently explores techniques for interpreting photographic compositions in woodcuts, focusing largely on waterfront and environmental subjects.

Diane Charyk Norris’ art work is inspired by images of water and light in many forms and works primarily in painting, printmaking, and drawing.  She works outdoors in Maine and in her studio at Miller Street Studios in Somerville, Massachusetts. Her paintings in this show feature momentary reflections of sky, water, and land that converge in sandy tidal flats and rocky coves in coastal Maine.

All are invited to the opening of this show on Friday, Sept. 15  during the Twin Villages Art Walk from 4-7 p.m. The public is also welcome to drop into the Damariscotta office during their normal weekday hours between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
