The Wiscasset Fire Department held its annual open house Wednesday night, Oct. 11 at the fire house. Alna, Woolwich and Boothbay Harbor sent fire trucks to the event that included demonstrations, fire safety tips and refreshments.
Firefighters remind everyone to practice fire safety every day of the year; test fire alarms monthly and remember to change smoke alarm batteries every year.
