Damariscotta Waterfront Park floods both sides of parking lot
Water rose to proposed site of public restrooms
Emergency vehicles were on the scene during the height of the Jan. 4 storm as water surged from the Damariscotta River to the Van Lloyd Bistro, to near the site of the proposed public restrooms, about 75 feet from the river.
Ellie Busby, local resident and blogger for the Boothbay Register, took photos of the rising water. She said water was covering both sides of the parking lot.
