This February, we’re on a mission to share the love in the Boothbay Harbor Region! Each week, we’re championing a different part of our local economy—businesses, nonprofits, and organizations that make our community shine. And this week, we’re starting with something near and dear to our hearts (and stomachs): food! 

Think back to that first sip of a perfectly brewed coffee on a chilly morning, warming your hands as you watch the harbor wake up. The lobster roll that tasted like pure summer, buttery and brimming with fresh, local flavor. The warm, homemade bread that made you feel right at home—or the just-out-of-the-oven pastry that turned your morning around. The bartender who always remembers your order, the server who went out of their way to make your anniversary dinner extra special, or the chef who stopped by your table to ask how everything was. Maybe it was the perfectly poured pint at your favorite brewery, the best clam chowder you've ever had, or the scoop of ice cream that brought back childhood memories.

Now, here’s your mission: leave a review for your favorite food-based business in the Boothbay Harbor Region! Whether it’s a café, bakery, brewery, seafood shack, or gourmet shop, your kind words help others discover the incredible flavors and experiences our towns have to offer.

Why Reviews Matter

In today’s digital world, online reviews are the word-of-mouth recommendations of our time. With so many people searching online before deciding where to eat, drink, and shop, real feedback from real customers makes all the difference. A thoughtful review doesn’t just help new customers—it boosts a business’s visibility, helping it rank higher in searches so more people can find and support local favorites. 

How to Participate:

Write an online review – Google, Yelp, Facebook—wherever you like to leave it!
Tag them on social media – A quick post or photo shoutout goes a long way.
Send an old-school note – Not a fan of online reviews? Go classic! Write a handwritten note and mail it to the business. You just might make their whole year.
