Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 6 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 232 calls for service for the period of Feb. 18 to Feb. 25. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 2,296 calls for service.
Summonses
Beth A. Duggan, 53, of Boothbay was issued a summons Feb. 19 for Failing to Notify of a Motor Vehicle Accident, on River Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Joseph Booth.
Taylor Riley, 26, of Bristol was issued a summons Feb. 24 for Failure to Submit to Finger Printing, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Arrests
Alexis A. Kelley, 25, of Bath was arrested Feb. 19 on a Kennebec County warrant for Failure to Appear, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Deputy Joseph Booth.
Lester C. Dancer, Jr., 47, of Whitefield was arrested Feb. 20 for Violating Condition of Release, on Trotter Lane, Whitefield, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.
David J. Michaud, 44, of Searsport was arrested Feb. 21 for Violating Condition of Release, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Joseph Booth.
David J. Michaud, 44, of Searsport was arrested Feb. 21 on two Hancock County warrants for Violation of Bail, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Ethan J. Rose, 53, of Damariscotta was arrested Feb. 22 for Operating under the Influence, on Main Street, Damariscotta, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Deanna J. Thomas, 28, of Bath was arrested Feb. 23 on a Lincoln County District Court warrant for Failure to Appear on an Attaching False Plates charge, on Wawenock Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Justin Drake.
Accidents
On Feb. 18, an accident occurred on Patterson Road in Dresden involving Kandice M. Powell, 20, of Bowdoinham and Brice C. Johnson, 36, of Alna. Ms. Powell was operating her 2006 Chevrolet HHR and was attempting to take a left turn from River Road onto Patterson Road, traveling northbound. Mr. Johnson was operating his 2014 Dodge Caravan eastbound on Patterson Road. Powell had a flashing red traffic signal with stop signs and Johnson had a flashing yellow signal with no obligation to stop. Powell failed to yield to Johnson, pulling out in front of him and causing a T-bone collision, which caused the front of Johnson’s vehicle to strike the driver’s side of Powell’s vehicle. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 22, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Brittany B. Peaslee, 35, of Waldoboro and Steven D. Michaud, 62, of West Gardiner. Ms. Peaslee was operating her 2020 Jeep Cherokee northbound and started to turn left onto Middle Road. Mr. Michaud was stopped at the stop sign on Middle Road, waiting to turn left and head north on Route 27 in his 2013 Subaru Impreza, when Peaslee turned too sharply and cut the corner, striking the front end of Michaud’s vehicle. Deputy Nathan Yeaton was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 23, an accident occurred on State Route 32 in Bristol involving Tatiana Brailovskaya, 74, of Newcastle and Joseph J. Gawrysiak, 46, of Bristol. Ms. Brailovskaya was operating her 2013 Toyota Prius northbound, when she stopped in the roadway and began to back up to observe house construction. Mr. Gawrysiak was operating his 2011 Ford Escape behind Brailovskaya’s vehicle, when she failed to observe his vehicle and struck it, causing front end damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
