Almost Home Rescue returns to Damariscotta
Almost Home Rescue of Maine will be featured at The Animal House Adoption Center on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will be bringing several dogs looking for homes and providing information on the adoption process and volunteer/foster opportunities. They will also be selling merchandise with all proceeds going to support this all-volunteer rescue.
Almost Home relies on a network of foster families to house dogs until they find their forever families. The dogs transported arrive with a current Health Certificate, meet Maine and New Hampshire state import and vaccination requirements, are wormed, microchipped, and transported on an USDA approved transport. Once in Maine, the dogs then are placed with foster families.
