Amanda K. Nielsen and Lance Cpl. Dylan H. Brandt were united in marriage on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 2 p.m. in a private civil ceremony conducted in the historic Cambridge City Hall, Cambridge, Mass. The bride’s parents hosted a seated dinner and reception immediately following the ceremony at the Harvest Restaurant located in Harvard Square, Cambridge.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Karen Nielsen of Danvers, Mass., and Donna Nielsen of Lynn, Mass. She is the granddaughter of Janet Gapski of Peabody, Mass. The groom is the son of Christopher and Lana Brandt of Boothbay Harbor. He is the grandson of R. Peter and the late Irene Brandt of Southport and Melbourne Beach, Fla., and the late Henry and Hertha Rau of Reading, Pa.

The bride is a 2012 graduate of Peabody High School in Peabody, Mass. She attended Salem State College in Salem, Mass. before getting married. The groom is a 2009 graduate of Boothbay Region High School and is presently serving in the United States Marine Corps stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Following a honeymoon in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, Amanda and Dylan now reside in Jacksonville, N.C.
