Brandwein exhibits at The First in October
Marcia Brandwein of Pemaquid Harbor is showing her art in the lobby of The First Bank in Boothbay Harbor Oct. 1-30.
Brandwein’s vibrantly painted landscapes show her excellence in design, color and pattern.
A Pratt Art Institute grad with a degree in illustration, her love and career was for textile design, home furnishing and product styling.
Given the time and opportunity to return to painting, she has explored different mediums but is most happy painting with oils. Brandwein loves the mobility and looseness of the medium and continues to push for new ways to express her love of what she sees around her here in Maine.
She has exhibited in Damariscotta, Pemaquid, Portland, Greenwich, Connecticut, and White Plains, New York.
Brandwein lives half the year in Pemaquid Harbor and the other in White Plains with her husband Daniel Furman.
