The Miles Memorial Hospital League Art Committee announces a call for area artists to exhibit for the 2024 season in the Hall Gallery at Miles Hospital, Damariscotta. Prospective artists should have at least 15-20 pieces to fill the gallery space and are not eligible if they have exhibited here within the last 3 years.

This coming year the Art Committee is scheduling 6 individual shows, each about 2 months in duration. Paintings, drawings, original prints, and photography will be juried for consideration. Sculpture or textiles cannot be accepted. Artwork should be appropriate for a public hospital setting.

Interested artists are asked to bring three pieces representative of their work together with a short bio and range of prices to the Arrowsmith Building (corner of Route 1 and Belvedere Road) on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 9:30 a.m. Jurying artists are asked to return later that same morning to pick up their works. Artists will be notified of the jury’s decision later that same day.
