The Maine Art Gallery, a nonprofit arts organization, is seeking submissions.

Artists interested in showing their art at the historic “Old Academy” should submit three images of their work via email attachment (.jpg format, maximum size 1,500 pixels on the longest side) to magwiscasset@gmail.com. Artists will be notified via email if their work is accepted.

Submissions will be considered until July 1. Spaces will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

Artists are responsible for their own installations and can hang as many works as they wish on their assigned panel(s) leaving a six inch minimum border at all edges. Panel fee is $150 for July 6 through Aug. 7. Payment is by check upon acceptance.

Artists are encouraged to work on site. Exhibiting artists are required to attend receptions, as work will be publicized by the gallery.

The Maine Art Gallery, located at 15 Warren Street, is a commission-free venue.
