Christmas is coming ... and the Nor’easters are back!
The Nor’easters are an all-male barbershop chorus based in Bath. Every Christmas season, they love to bring Christmas joy to folks in assisted living, nursing homes and even hospitals from Brunswick to Boothbay Harbor.
For the past two years, those facilities have been on lockdown, and when those folks needed their music the most, the chorus couldn’t get in to sing for them. In the same period, for their own safely, they suspended their rehearsals. Rehearsals resumed last June, to the delight of the chorus members.
However, some of these facilities have now opened to fully vaccinated folks and that includes the Nor’easters Chorus. Some of the places the chorus will visit in December include Coastal Landing, Coastal Shores, Sunnybrook Village, Pejepscot Terrace, Lincoln Home and Hodgdon Green (outside on their porch).
The chorus is excited to be back once again, singing and entertaining the folks who enjoy it. For more information about the chorus, contact Director Kathy Robitaille at 207-542-7699.
