Wiscasset has announced the resignations of its police chief, Troy Cline, and school resource officer, Tom Hoepner. More coverage to follow.
“It is with sincere regret and best wishes to Chief Troy Cline, I announce his resignation. Troy has been the chief here in the town of Wiscasset since August of 2011. Troy has accepted the position of chief in his hometown of Buxton, Maine,” Town Manager Marian Anderson writes in an email Tuesday morning.
Regarding Hoepner, Anderson writes: “We appreciate Tom’s good work at our schools and wish him the very best as he moves on with his career.”
