Lincoln County Commissioners approved Tara Doe April 8 as the new 9-1-1 communications director. She replaces Tom Nelson who resigned March 2 after 2.5 years in the job. Doe has worked as an emergency communications officer since 2008, mostly recently as a supervisor.

“Tara has deep roots in the community and is looking forward to her new role,” Kipfer said.  Doe was one of six applicants. Her first day in her new job is April 9.
