CTL holds food drive for Boothbay Region Food Pantry
Students at the Center for Teaching and Learning in Edgecomb contributed to a fall drive to collect food for the Boothbay Region Food Pantry. One of CTL students’ favorite traditions of community service involves regular gifts to the pantry. Each class took responsibility for collecting a few specific high-need items, which they gathered over the course of two weeks. The school filled nine total boxes with soup, flour, peanut butter and jelly, cooking oil, hot and cold cereal, and more.
CTL collects non-perishable goods throughout the year, including a few drives geared toward specific items. The students and teachers extend a thank you to parents Amy Winston and Steve Feder, who transported the donations, and to the Boothbay Region Food Pantry for all the good work it does in the community.
