CTL students explore collections at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts
Students from the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) enjoyed a visit to Boston's Museum of Fine Arts on Friday, Oct. 13. CTL's middle schoolers, who are studying Ancient Civilizations as part of their history curriculum this year, had an opportunity to explore several of the museum's collections and exhibits, including the Art of Ancient Egypt and the Art of Ancient Greece and Rome. Students recorded their observations, sketched their impressions, and discussed the ways that their time in the museum extended and enriched their study of ancient Civilizations.
CTL plans to serve students in five groupings next school year: Pre-K--K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8. Applications for the 2024-25 school year are due by Feb. 15, 2024, as are tuition assistance applications. Applications received after Feb. 15 will be considered on a rolling basis.
