Dancing open houses in January
Free Round Dance open house events will be held Mondays, Jan. 5 and 12 at 6:30 p.m. and free Square Dance open house events will be held Tuesdays, Jan. 13 and 20 at 6:30 p.m. at Woodside Elementary School cafeteria, 42 Barrows Drive, Topsham.
Come learn more about round dancing and ballroom dancing to cues. Dress is casual, no prior experience required, partners recommended. This a fun evening of ballroom dancing for newcomers.
The square dancing taught here is way different from the stuff you did in junior high. This is a fun time square dancing to contemporary and traditional music, exercising the gray cells, getting in some much needed winter physical exercise and socializing with a great bunch of people.
No prior experience necessary, dress is casual, smiles and a positive attitude preferred but not required.
