Don’t miss the Vintage Car Show Aug. 12 in Bristol
Free registrations continue to arrive for the Olde Bristol Days Williams-Fossett 10th Anniversary Vintage Car Show, to be held at the Bristol Consolidated School in Bristol on Saturday, Aug. 12, from 10:30 to 2 p.m. as part of the annual Olde Bristol Days celebration.
“Interesting vehicles always join the event, many unknown up to that point” shared car show organizers. This year’s 10th Anniversary show will host, for example, rare Porches, 1915 Model T Ford Town Car, 1959 Ford 150 Pick-up, 1971 Road Runner and 1953 Austin Healey BN 100M racing car. Other fascinating vehicles are registered, too, with more entries arriving every day.
The traditional Olde Bristol Days Parade rolls at 10 a.m. right before the Vintage Show. To participate, arrive at the Harbor Room parking lot for staging beginning at 9 a.m. Both the parade and car show are designed for the entire family to enjoy.
Children 12 and under have focused fun with the popular ‘Kid’s Pick” trophy, because it’s their votes that choose the lucky winner. An additional five trophies will be awarded by popular voting.
OBD Williams-Fossett Vintage Car Show staff is asking folks to reserve their free spot(s) now to ensure participation in what’s shaping-up to be a banner event for 2023. Register now by sending organizers an email at jftv1@verizon.net or by phone at 207-677-3707.
