Dorothy Campbell
Dorothy Campbell, 97, of East Boothbay, passed away on June 1, 2024, at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor.
Dorothy was born on July 5, 1926, in Collingswood, New Jersey to parents Charles R. and Mabel V. (Lee) Parker.
Dorothy graduated from Collingswood High School. She and her husband resided in Pitman, New Jersey before making their way to Maine. Dorothy was an avid reader who took inspiration from Louise Dickinson Rich and was proud to have taken to the woods.
Dorothy had many talents in crafting. She loved basketry, quilting, gardening, and anything to do with dogs. She was also a ceramics instructor and operated a studio in Pitman, N.J. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, and her husband Duncan Campbell Sr.
She is survived by her son, Duncan Campbell Jr. and wife Virginia of Port Norris, New Jersey; two stepgrandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Dorothy’s family will honor her life privately.
