Paul Draper master mentalist and magician brings his one-man magic and mentalist family-friendly show, “Mysteries of the Mind” to the Chocolate Church Arts Center on Thursday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m., 804 Washington St. Bath.

Draper’s act will guide the audience on a journey into the secrets of human nature and wonders of the universe, breaking the laws of physics and defying the rules of reality. Audiences have watched in disbelief as he bends metal and minds at will in this internationally award-winning show. Draper will make you laugh, gasp, and question the world as you know it as he combines magic, music, humor, and mentalism to create custom experiences unique to each new audience of “Mysteries of the Mind.” 

Draper is a comedian, mind-reader, and anthropologist expert on the history of magic and mysticism. In Las Vegas, Paul has headlined for many casinos, including the Orleans Casino and Planet Hollywood V Theater. In addition to his seven years as house magician for the Venetian Hotel & Casino, Paul has performed for HBO Comedy Fest at Caesar’s Palace and hosted companion documentaries for Steven Spielberg’s “Poltergeist.” 

On television, Paul Draper has appeared on the History Channel, A&E, HBO, Hallmark, the Travel Channel, HGTV, and shows like “Hell’s Kitchen,” “Pawn Stars,” “Ghost Adventures,” “Mindfreak,” and “House Hunters.” As an expert in the field of magic, Draper has appeared with other star magicians; David Copperfield, Lance Burton, and Teller of Penn & Teller for the History Channel.
