A call went out asking for support from Edgecomb Eddy parents and members of the community in the May 1 edition of  Edgecomb Eddy School’s newsletter. “We are facing some difficult budget cuts for the 2017-2018 school year, and we want to hear from you,” the message read in part. To help boost support, the school is offering free babysitting, pizza and salad to Edgecomb Eddy families and to members of the public attending the budget forum on Tuesday, May 9, at 6:30 p.m. School and district officials will be reviewing the overall budget and will discuss what proposed changes may mean to the school. Please call Edgecomb Eddy at (207) 882-5515 by the morning of Monday, May 8 so officials can get an accurate count of those needing babysitting services and food.

On Saturday, May 13, free babysitting services will be offered at the school for Edgecomb Eddy parents attending Edgecomb’s annual town meeting at the Town Hall on Town Hall Road. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. Please contact the school by Thursday, May 11, so the school can get a headcount regarding babysitting services.
