Free seminar on planning for the senior years March 16
Many people know they should plan for their senior years, but they have no idea where to begin. The Lincoln Home Senior Living Community is back with one of its free popular education series, presenting “Navigating the Complex Waters of Senior Living Choices.”
The course will be taught by Steve Raymond, producer and host of LCTV show “Spotlight on Seniors,” and director of Community Outreach for the Lincoln Home. Raymond is a longtime senior care professional and is a skilled counselor helping families navigate the complexities of older age.
The course will cover: An overview of the many types of retirement communities from Brunswick to Camden; Understanding the language of senior care professionals and how they assess care needs; Regional costs for retirement communities and for home care; and, Understanding Long Term Care Insurance.
This free seminar will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 4 to 5:45 p.m. at the Lincoln Home. The course will benefit retirees or the adult children of seniors who are assisting aging parents.
