The next meeting of the Garden Club of Wiscasset will be on Thursday, Feb. 3 in Fellowship Hall at First Congregational Church , 28 High St., Wiscasset.

 

There is a brief business meeting at 12:30 p.m., then the featured speaker at 1 p.m. Jean Vose, Master Gardener Volunteer Educator, will present a program on “Companion Gardening.” Vose is also a certified horticulturist and backyard beekeeper.

 

This program shows you how to get the most out of your garden in a natural way: What plants to attract pollinators and repel insect pests. It discusses identifying these pests, how they work in gardens and how they overwinter in your yard.
