Getting that orange on
This time of year, you start to see the most orange on our pages. Christmas has its reds, greens and often nature’s white backdrop; and red is a February regular for Valentine’s Day, plus paired with black year round for Wiscasset’s Wolverines.
But in September when the leaves change and October when pumpkins and jack o lanterns go on display, and hunters wear their orange and others outdoors do, too, due to the hunting seasons, orange is the in color.
There is also nothing quite like the fall sun, as Editor Kevin Burnham captures beautifully this week at boothbayregister.com and on page 2. If you have photos to share, of scapes or your fall displays, as always, email them in their original (largest) size, at least a megabyte if possible, to pix@wiscassetnewspaper.com or pix@boothbayregister.com
Most importantly, picture-taking or not, when you are spending time outdoors these days, have on your orange, for safety’s sake.
