Sea Tow Portland/Midcoast was called Saturday, Jan. 7 to a salvage job in Cundys Harbor. A 38-foot Duffy lobster boat sunk at its mooring for no apparent reason. Sea Tow raised the boat Monday, Jan. 9 in frigid temperatures using air bags. The boat was then towed to Vessel Point where it could be hauled out. An oil boom and pads were used to contain any oil that might have leaked out, but none did, according to Sea Tow's Bruce White. The boat is in the shop now being cleaned up and repaired.
