Elisabeth Meury: March 15, 1935 - Nov. 29, 2023.

Elisabeth moved to East Boothbay in 1985 and for many years owned and operated “Far East Boutique.”

Elisabeth loved the Boothbay region and spent most of her summers and many other seasons here where she hosted friends and family from all over the world.

Boothbay was truly her “home” and her happy place. Elisabeth was a woman of unparalleled grace that was only surpassed by her kindness and genuine interest in others. She was the quintessential lady and wonderful friend. However, her favorite title was “Oma” and she loved spending time with her grandchildren above all else.

A graveside service will be held on Oct. 5th at 11 a.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery on Barters Island Road in Boothbay. The service will be conducted by Fr. Patrick from Our Lady Queen of Peace.
