Helen M. Walsh of Machiasport was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend who passed away on Jan. 14, 2020 on what would have been her and Patrick’s 53rd wedding anniversary. Helen will be greatly missed by her children, Coleen Walsh of St. Cloud, Florida, Kimberly Wrick and husband James and granddaughters Kristin and Rachel of Weatherford, Texas, Tammy Walsh and grandchildren Michael, Robin, Douglas and Jacklen of Damariscotta, Boothbay and Gray, Maine, and Gregory Greaves and wife Nichole and grandchildren Kyle, Cole and Jaiden of Wells, Maine.

Helen dearly loved her sister, Rose Williams of Machiasport and spent a lot of time with her going to bingo games, shopping and playing games at home. Her favorite nephew is Daniel Williams Jr. of South Portland. Kimberly Clifford of Boothbay, best friend of her daughter Tammy, was like another daughter to her.

Helen was proud to be a military wife and was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Walsh. Helen was deeply devoted to the state of Maine and cherished living in Machiasport where some of her fondest memories were acquired. She was an avid bingo player, puzzle builder, creative crafter and made many friends along the way doing all of these. Helen fondly recalls many hours of enjoyment in her life thanks to her special friends Jane Bousquet, Sylvia Pouliot and Sherrill Preston and Helen’s love of pugs.
