On Friday, Feb. 10, kindergarten students in Shania Creamer’s room at Wiscasset Elementary School created beautiful valentines for the residents of Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. The class created torn paper hearts and then wrote “Happy Valentine’s Day” inside.

The students also drew pictures inside the card and hoped their wonderful illustrations would put smiles on the faces of the cards’ recipients. The class enjoyed working on this act of kindness so much, they came back to school on Monday, Feb. 13 ready to make even more cards – this time,  ones that would be delivered to the students’ families.
