LCTV: ‘Soccer Memories Saturday’ and more
Lincoln County Television is pleased to announce a new Special titled “Soccer Memories” featuring the Lincoln Academy 1987 State Championship soccer team who were lauded at this year’s Homecoming, plus the games that got them there.
This Saturday, Oct. 28, starting at 2 p.m., LCTV will air the Lincoln Academy team’s 1987 quarterfinal game versus York, followed by the semifinal game against Yarmouth, and concluding with the clinching championship game versus Falmouth.
Stayed tuned at 6 p.m. for the Special “Soccer Memories” that includes new and archival footage of the 1987 team who attended 2023 Homecoming: Luke Houghton, captain; Clint Kaler, captain; Chris McKenney, Jordy Belknap, Josh Pinkham, Jon Pinkham, Ryan Gleason, Dave Mason, Ethan Rose, Aaron Bradbury, and Matt Stelzer.
Then on Sunday, Oct. 29, join your friends and family at the Lincoln Theater for the 2 p.m. show “Late and Alone: An Intimate Evening with Johnny Cash.” Mainer Scott Moreau has traveled the world performing as Johnny Cash for nearly a decade. The “Late and Alone” show features all of Johnny’s hits and some deeper dives into the Man’s music, as well as more in-depth stories about Johnny’s life.

Other “All New All Local” LCTV shows this week include:
- Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.: A new Damariscotta Chamber Chat with Hammond Lumber, followed at 7:30 by a Special on the recent Grand Opening of the Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce and Information Center.
- Thursday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.: The weekly Wuzzup News Show with Lincoln County News headlines.
- On Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m., tune in for the tenth episode of Vintage Racers Roundtable with hosts Pete Silva and Ken Minott and guests Mark Wentworth, Crew Chief; Dave Staples, Racing Historian; and Hall of Famer racer Dick McCabe.
- Long-time LCTV fans will remember Gruesome Glenn’s Friday Fright Night with local artist Glenn Chadbourne introducing scary classic movies. Vintage replays of these shows will run every night at 8 p.m. until Halloween, and then every Friday night at 8 p.m.
