Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 3 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 229 calls for service for the period of Oct. 24 to Oct. 31. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 9,401 calls for service.
Summonses
, Joshua Shirey, 40, of Woolwich was issued summonses Oct. 26 for Operating after Suspension; Violating Condition of Release and Failure to Register Vehicle, on Bath Road, Wiscasset, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Brian E. Tomacelli, 37, of Damariscotta was issued a summons Oct. 27 for Sale and Use of Drug Paraphernalia, on River Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander, who was assisted by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Timothy J. Peaslee, 30, of Whitefield was issued summonses Oct. 28 for Failing to Stop for a Police Officer; Speeding 30+ MPH over the Speed Limit; Operating after Suspension – prior and Violating Condition of Release, on Beech Lane, Whitefield, after an investigation by Sgt. Scott Hayden into an incident, which occurred in August, in Whitefield.
Sierra P. Leigh, 25, of Washington was issued a summons Oct. 28 for Operating after Suspension, on Gardiner Road, Wiscasset, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
James W. Oliver, 56, of Nobleboro was issued summonses Oct. 28 for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, on East Neck Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Ethan Burns, who was assisted by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Arrests
Sean F. Pinkham, 35, of Wiscasset was arrested Oct. 27 on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs (x2), on River Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander, who was assisted by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Corey A. Frizzell, 44, of Boothbay Harbor was arrested Oct. 27 on a Kennebec County warrant for Failure to Appear, on River Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Ryan E. Cote, 42, of Chelsea was arrested Oct. 28 on two Kennebec County warrants for Failure to Appear, on Grand Army Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Accidents
On Oct. 24, an accident occurred on Blinn Hill Road in Dresden involving Merton E. Campbell, 52, of Alna. Mr. Campbell was operating his 2017 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound when a deer came front the left side of the roadway and was struck, causing front-end damage to his vehicle. Deputy Owen Beattie was the investigating officer.
On Oct. 25, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Andrew W. Dondlinger, 36, of Waldoboro and Patricia H. Greene, 82, of Damariscotta. Ms. Greene was operating her 2019 Jeep Compass northbound and had stopped, waiting to turn left. Mr. Dondlinger was operating his 2010 Toyota Camry behind Greene’s vehicle, also traveling northbound, when he did not realize Greene was stopped and swerved right, causing the left corner of his vehicle to strike the back right quarter of Greene’s vehicle. Dondlinger’s vehicle then went off the roadway on the right, down an embankment and struck a tree, causing additional damage to the front end. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
On Oct. 27, an accident occurred on Rockland Road in Whitefield involving Jordan M. Durkee, 20, of Union. Mr. Durkee was operating his 2017 Ford F150 westbound when a deer came out of the woods, from right to left and struck the passenger side of his vehicle, causing minor damage. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
