Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 4 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 228 calls for service for the period of Oct. 10 to Oct. 17. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 9,000 calls for service.
Summonses
William R. Hanscom, 41, of Dresden was issued a summons Oct. 12 for Fail to Comply with Sex Offender Registry Act – 1st offense, on Perry Drive, Dresden, by Detective Ryan Chubbuck.
Matthew Main, 22, Newcastle was issued a summons Oct. 12 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Mills Road, Newcastle, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Tiffany R. Batty, 42, of Rockland was issued a summons Oct. 13 for Operating after Habitual Offender Revocation, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Arrests
Kassandra M. Carter, 37, of Jefferson was arrested Oct. 10 for Terrorizing, on Rockland Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Owen Beattie, on behalf of an investigation by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Charity Chubbuck, 50, of Nobleboro was arrested Oct. 12 on a Cumberland County warrant for Failure to Appear on an Operating under the Influence charge; Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked and Violating Condition of Release, on Mills Road, Newcastle, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Devin Davis, 36, of Friendship was arrested Oct. 13 on a Wiscasset Police Department warrant for Failure to Appear on an Operating after Habitual Offender Revocation charge, at the Lincoln County Courthouse, Wiscasset, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Noah C. Farmer, 22, of Edgecomb was arrested Oct. 14 for Operating under the Influence, on Back River Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On Oct. 10, an accident occurred on South Colby Road in Somerville involving Joshua R. Bowring, 32, of Palmyra. Mr. Bowring was operating his 2014 Jeep Patriot southbound when he looked away and drove off the road on the right and struck a utility pole. The pole was not damaged, but the vehicle sustained significant damage to the front. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
On Oct. 10, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Jefferson involving Brenda Williams, 73, of Jefferson. Ms. Williams was operating her 2010 Toyota RAV4 northbound when she struck a deer in the roadway. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
On Oct. 12, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Donald K. Blackman, 79, of Edgecomb. Mr. Blackman was operating his 2019 Toyota Tundra southbound when a deer ran out in front of his vehicle and was struck, causing front-end damage. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
