Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 5 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 262 calls for service for the period of July 25 to Aug. 1. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 6,444 calls for service.
Summons
A 17-year-old male juvenile was issued a summons July 29 for Possession of Marijuana, in Boothbay Harbor, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Arrests
Ali K. Hartley, 33, of Boothbay was arrested July 26 for Violation of Conditional Release, on Pension Ridge Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.
Angela Webster, 47, of Bristol was arrested July 27 on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Theft charge, on McKay Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Ernest T. Watson, 31, of Wiscasset was arrested July 27 on a Sagadahoc County warrant for Failure to Appear, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Reilly V. Sullivan, 33, of Brunswick was arrested July 29 for Operating under the Influence and Violating Condition of Release, on US Route 1, Damariscotta, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Sierra D. Crawford, 22, of Bristol was arrested July 31 for Operating under the Influence, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Accidents
On July 27, an accident occurred on South Clary Road in Jefferson involving Nathan Ryan J. Cleary, 25, of Union. Mr. Cleary was operating his 2004 Toyota Tacoma southbound when he observed a deer enter the road from the northbound ditch. Mr. Cleary attempted to avoid the deer and as a result, his vehicle entered the southbound ditch and rolled over. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On July 29, an accident occurred on Route 27 in Boothbay involving Stephanie Durgin, 35, of Litchfield. An unknown vehicle was heading eastbound, exiting the Dunkin Donuts parking lot and Ms. Durgin was operating her 2021 Subaru Crosstrek westbound, pulling into the parking lot. The operator of the unknown vehicle struck Durgin’s vehicle as it was leaving and left the scene, traveling eastbound onto Country Club Road. Durgin’s vehicle sustained damage to the driver’s side front corner. Deputy Scott Solorzano was the investigating officer.
On July 30, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Aiden M. Hagar, 18, of Freeport. Mr. Hagar was operating his 1990 Ford Bronco northbound, near Mike’s Place, when he proceeded to slow down in traffic, but was forced over the embankment by another unknown driver. As a result, his vehicle traveled down the embankment and struck a tree, causing damage to the front end. Deputy Scott Solorzano was the investigating officer.
