Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 7 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 264 calls for service for the period of Aug. 22 to Aug. 29. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 7,425 calls for service.
Summonses
Kenneth R. Barter, 69, of Edgecomb was issued a summons Aug. 22 for Leaving Scene of Motor Vehicle Accident, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Detective Matthew Ryan.
Tracy M. Fortin, 57, of Gardiner was issued a summons Aug. 22 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Grand Army Road, Whitefield, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Evangeline R. Margaritis, 24, of Newcastle was issued summonses Aug. 22 for Assault, Criminal Mischief and Stalking, on Kavanagh Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.
Aaron M. Morgan, 42, of Turner was issued summonses Aug. 23 for Theft by Deception and Operating after Suspension, on South Hunt’s Meadow Road, Whitefield, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Lucas P. Small, 32, of Pemaquid was issued a summons Aug. 24 for Operating after Suspension, on Old County Road, Bristol, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.
Arrests
Katie Barter, 32, of Bath was arrested Aug. 22 on a Bath Police Department warrant for Violating a Protection from Abuse Order, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Adam R. Giles, 31, of Boothbay was arrested Aug. 25 on a Lincoln County warrant for Domestic Violence Assault/Criminal Mischief and Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked – OUI, on Sheepscot Road, Newcastle, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Peter A. Berry, 31, of Wiscasset was arrested Aug. 24 on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Theft Charge, on Middle Road, Dresden, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Victor P. Graziani, 32, of Lewiston was arrested Aug. 24 on two Androscoggin District Court warrants for Violation of Bail and Failure to Appear, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Tammy R. Elliott, 53, of Damariscotta was arrested Aug. 24 for Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention; Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Trespass, on Benner Road, Bristol, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Paul A. McDonald, 36, of Jefferson was arrested Aug. 25 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Maple Lane, Jefferson, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Erik Hoagland, 39, of Edgecomb was arrested Aug. 27 on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear on charges of Domestic Violence Assault and Obstructing Report of a Crime, on Eddy Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Accidents
On Aug. 22, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Mark Lesniewski, 46, of Palermo and Emma C. Gerike, 24, of Bordetown, New Jersey. Mr. Lesniewski was operating his 2016 Nissan Frontier northbound and Ms. Gerike was operating her 2010 Mercedes-Benz behind Lesniewski’s vehicle. Lesniewski slowed down as he was approaching a stop sign and Gerike struck the rear of his vehicle. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 24, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Matthew L. Johnson, 27, of Dresden. Mr. Johnson was operating his 2018 Chevrolet Cruz northbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
