Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: Six arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 270 calls for service for the period of May 2 to May 9. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 3,699 calls for service.
Summonses
A15-year-old male juvenile from Dresden was issued a juvenile summons May 5 for assault, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Arrests
Jason Wellman, 35, of Bremen was arrested May 5 for Operating under the Influence, on Upper East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
James A. Normington, 57, of Chelmsford was arrested May 6 for Operating under the Influence, on Ocean Point Road, Boothbay Harbor, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Theodore Cocco, 58, of Waldoboro was arrested May 6 for Operating under the Influence, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Edward G. Brooks, 49, of Waldoboro was arrested May 6 for Operating under the Influence, on US Route 1, Damariscotta, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Jaclyn Beaton, 38, of Bath was arrested May 7 for Violating Condition of Release, on Foster Road, Bristol, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Shale L. Maynard, 33, of Jefferson was arrested May 8 for Domestic Violence Assault; Criminal Mischief; Failing to Stop for an Officer and Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Upper East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Matthew Ryan.
Accident
On May 2, an accident occurred on US Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Wei C. Cen, 51, of Rockport. Mr. Cen was operating his 2021 Subaru Crosstrek northbound when he struck a deer that came from the right side of the road, by Back Meadow Road, causing his steering wheel air bag to be deployed. Deputy Owen Beattie was the investigating officer.
