Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: Three arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 239 calls for service for the period of July 18 to July 25. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 6,182 calls for service.
Summonses
Tugba Ciftci, 26, of Boothbay Harbor was issued a summons July 19 for Operating Vehicle without a License, on Ocean Point Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Gilbert Zenon, 50, of Deltona, Florida was issued a summons July 20 for Operating Vehicle without a License, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrests
Matthew Chapman, 36, of Lewiston was arrested July 18 on a Lincoln County warrant for Tampering with a Witness, Informant, Juror or Victim; Retaliation Against a Witness, Informant or Victim and Violating Condition of Release, by Lewiston Police, on behalf of Detective Matthew Ryan.
Josealberto CV Rodrigues, 58, of Middlebury, Connecticut was arrested July 19 for Operating under the Influence, on Boothbay Road, Edgecomb, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Tyler A. Davis, 27, of Jefferson was arrested July 23 for Domestic Violence Assault and Violating Condition of Release, on North Clary Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Accidents
On July 18, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Luke Donovan, 34, of Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. Mr. Donovan was operating his 2018 Volvo XC6 southbound when he swerved to avoid a deer. Donovan stated he was exceeding the speed limit by approximately 10 mph or so and as a result, he lost control of his vehicle and went into a ditch, causing significant damage to the passenger side of his vehicle. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
On July 19, an accident occurred on Bremen Road in Nobleboro involving Donald Reilly, 59, of China and Shannyn Soule, 30, of Nobleboro. Mr. Reilly was backing his Mercedes-Benz up the Bremen Road to go into 33 Bremen Road and was backing up in the area of a blind hill. Ms. Soule was operating her 2021 Toyota 4Runner southbound on Bremen Road when she came over the hill and stated she hit her horn, however, Reilly kept backing up, striking the front of Soule’s vehicle. Sgt. Matthew Day was the investigating officer.
On July 22, an accident occurred on West Neck Road in Nobleboro involving Luke L. Gardiner, 43, of Nobleboro. Mr. Gardiner was operating his 2016 Ford F-150 southbound when he crossed the centerline, went off the roadway to the left and struck a telephone pole. When Gardiner struck the pole, the force of the hit broke the pole in half further up the pole and blew the transformer. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.
